Meditations on Sunset

I love watching sunset. It actually does not remind me of death or some kind of completion. For me it is the reminding beauty of nature in a flash that reminds us of itself by its colors and still it has no goal of completing itself or showing it to us.
While observing the sun I found out that act of watching itself is like living the present moment. Sunset is not an object. It is a process of sun setting down. And everything around becomes pinkish-orange-red-purple color and clouds around reflect the light coming from the sun as all the trees, stones, buildings, windows, waters. However when you think of watching, you start looking at the clouds, the sun, then at the sky and then to trees, people, everything you see around just to shoot the moment. Like an artist drawing naked lying beauty you look at all the details of an object. Because you become aware that there are actually lots of things to watch at and it is going to end soon in a very short time.
Sun is setting down very fast. You think you have a little time. Without promising yourself tomorrow’s sunset you become fully aware of a little time around. The moment of clarification. Reminding moment. You got what you could. Thinking of it only made everything complicated. You don’t know what to look at. But only when you understand that there is nothing to look for to look at you start watching. Watching for the sake of watching. Living for the sake of living. Nothing else. Dancing to the rhythms of nature around without stopping. You will fall. Yes, falling is another part of dancing.
