Ode to Music, Ode to Joy, Ode to Feelings

I've decided to stop listening to music as much as I can without limiting it to certain numbers or zeros. I think the instant pleasures around us decrease creativity in ourselves to create something out of nothing. Why to create when something is already there?

Why we have to listen to music as soon as we get that urge? Don't we masturbate when we feel that we can do it right at the moment? Ironically we are in the same trap as always. Pushing the buttons we are getting everything. It has become automatic action like messaging, turning on tvs, laptops or even getting a cup of coffee in the streets. Our feelings are getting number with us paying less and less attention to our surroundings. We become comfortable while talking about getting out of comfort zones. We are getting more and more lonely talking about leadership and success. Getting lonely is beautiful when you observe your life around you. When there is nothing to observe, loneliness is just a lonely nihilistic act.

To become aware of those feelings, to become observers of our life again like a child chasing butterfly we have to get rid of the buttons around us. At least for some moment. Our keyboards, mouses, music players, phones are no more different than the buttons which have killed people during the wars. Pushing buttons is much easier than stabbing with knife a person who is standing right in front of you. Buttons are far away from reality. Let's get back to life for a moment and observe. Let's get back to action of non-action.

The Master does nothing,
yet he leaves nothing undone.
The ordinary man is always doing things,
yet many more are left to be done.

(Tao Te Ching)
